Description

AVCO emission bonnets enable the early detection of fugitive gasses or liquids through a sniffer port on top of the valve. The bonnet is made with the same materials that make up the valve body to ensure compatibility between materials. The bonnet is bolted to the top of the valve body and sealed with an engineered Flexitallic spiral wound gasket. The sniffer port is threaded to allow for easy and secure installation of testing instrumentation. The stem running through the bonnet is separate from the valve stem to allow for removal of the emission bonnet without complete valve disassembly. The top of the bonnet has positive travel stops and lock off for a manual handle and an ISO 5211 mount pad for actuators, limit switches and positioners to be mounted with ease. AVCO emission bonnets will meet your needs where tough EPA regulations apply.
