When additional space is required between the valve and operator for safety or insulation, there are a variety of extension brackets available in 304SS or aluminum for the AVCO 1000 and 2000 Series ball valves. These include open air brackets that provide fast cooling of heat coming from the valve and closed extension bonnets that allow easy addition of insulation blankets. Both are available in custom heights if required. In addition, AVCO offers protection for automation equipment & accessories that may be sensitive to extreme temperatures. The standard mounting kit for actuators is 2”-4” high depending upon the valve size. AVCO offers extended height mounting kits up to 6” and can design custom height mounting kits as required. On the opposite end of the spectrum, AVCO has solutions for instances where there are space constraints. AVCO’s close coupled mounting kits are intended to reduce the overall height of the assemblies. These are designed to have as little as ¾” between the top of the valve and the bottom of the actuator. Whether you are dealing with extreme temperatures, safety concerns, insulation requirements or space constraints, AVCO either has items in stock or will design a custom solution to meet your needs.
